Description:
For sale is a very interesting and rare Tell Original German schuetzen target single shot pistol. It has an 11 inch barrel that is matted on top, double set triggers, very fine adjustable rear sight, replacable front sight, and very nice target grips. A very nice gentleman from the Netherlands sent me this information. The original Tell was made by the E F Buchel company in Zella Mellis, Germany. This example is thought to have been made after Buchel went bankrupt in 1935 and the remains of Tell and Luna were sold to Udo Anschutz. The ones made by Udo Anschutz were of higher quality than the earlier ones. The Nitro proof marks suggest this one was made after 1936.
