Description:
Catalogued as their Prestige or Premiere model, this engraved and gold wire inlaid Single Action revolver (serial # 010488) in 44 Winchester caliber is only available on special order. It has a special blued finish that is really blue, as seen in photos, typical of European metal finishes applied to suits of armor and early weapons. Uberti catalogue it as "Charcoal Blue." The frame has a color case hardened finish. The hand engraving and 24-carat gold wire inlay was executed by master engravers in Italy, before Uberti founder Aldo Uberti died and has about 60% coverage. The grips are highly polished deluxe walnut. This gun has never been turned or fired and is completely 100% new in the original factory box labelled "Incisa Oro" for Engraved/Gold, and has all the original papers. This gun is a true piece of art and a real find for any collector of fine engraved firearms.
This particular revolver was brought to the USA probably by Aldo Uberti for use at various gun shows and was purchased from Marie Uberti (his daughter who inherited and ran the company after his passing) at a Las Vegas Shot Show by the previous owner. It comes with a letter from the previous owner testifying to that.
This is a modern firearm and needs to be shipped to a licensed FFL holder who can do the transfer and where you can pick it up. I will need verification of that before I can ship it to them.
