Description:
You don't see 130-year-old collectibles in this kind of condition very often. Stampings are sharp indicating the blue hasn't been worked on or was very well-done. Magazine tube s in really good shape. The wood has honest nicks and dents from being used as does the reciever. Note: The 1881 was very similar to the Winchesters with top eject.This one is chambered in .40 caliber. Resources at our disposal say the ammunition is available, as well as dies for reloading.

Metal Condition: Good to Very good with strong blue left on barrel, magazine tube, and loop.Receiver has somewhat faded blue with a number of scratches and dents.
Wood Condition: Good, a large number of scratches and dents. The finish is intact but may not be original to the gun, but does appear aged for many years.
Bore Condition: Bright and shiny.
