Description:
For sale is a very nice old German schuetzen rifle made by F. W. Kessler chambered in 8.15x46R. It has a 29 1/2 inch fluted octagon barrel with matted top flat and a rear sight dove tail for the barrel mounted schuetzen sights, double set triggers, good bore, and a fancy lever to open the action. The receiver is beautifully engraved as is the lever and butt plate. The wood is very fancy carved with a traditional schuetzen cheeck piece and thumb rest. Next to the butt plate the wood has shrank or been sanded some but other wise a very fine old rifle.
