Description:
This custom 1905 Model, Mannlicher Shoenauer, is inscribed on the top of the barrel, "Manton & Co. Gunmakers Calcutta" "Made in Austria". It is in 9x56 caliber and is in very good condition. The receiver has been drilled and tapped for a side mount scope base. The gun has a flip-up peep sight at the rear of the receiver. It also has the barrel mounted flip sights of 100 and 200 meters. The walnut stock features excellent checkering at the wrist and also on the forend. The spoon handle bolt is smooth as "silk" and the barrel bore is very good. An excellent custom Mannlicher for $1,350.00.
