RARE NIEDNER BALLARD NO. 6 ½ FALLING BLOCK .22 HORNET RIFLE CIRCA 1934 WITH J.W. FECKER 10X TARGET SCOPE W/FECKER MOUNTS. 28” round barrel stamped on the top “NIEDNER RIFLE CORPORATION, DOWAGIAC, MICH.” And numbered 1155 under the forend near the breech. Ballard factory engraved #6 ½ frame with game scene cartouches of a “STANDING BEAR” and “RUNNING DEER”. Distinctive Niedner custom walnut target stock and forend. Signed Fecker 1 1/8” scope and signed Fecker mounts. Spirit level globe insert front sight. Excellent condition with nearly all the blue and stock finish. Frame with some minor original circa 1880’s Ballard grey-blue case hardening color as well as crisp Ballard address and Nov. 5, 1861 patent date. Perfect working order and mint bore. Scope and mounts in perfect condition as well. Rare and desirable rifle as well as scarce Fecker scope and mounts.
