Description:
Very rare Persian Mauser 98/29. What makes this one even more rare is it remains almost like new and has not been marred with import markings. According to Mauser Military Rifles of the World 4th Edition, Ball, Persia (modern day Iran) ordered 180,000 of these rifles from BRNO in Czechoslavakia. The rifles were produced from 1931 to 1938 up until the invasion of Nazi Germany. Thus, the order was never completely fulfilled.
