We are offering for sale a Remington New Model Army Revolver chambered in .44 caliber. This revolver, also incorrectly known as the Model 1858 remains in very good condition with much of the original bluing intact.
8” Octagon barrel is good with wear; loss. Surface color is greying with patina. Bore is very good; fairly bright with minor surface wear; Strong rifling. Original cylinder pin has been professionally repaired. Plunger retains the majority of original bluing. Frame is very good and the bluing is quite nice with scattered wear; light freckling. Cylinder is good with some bluing turning brown with patina. Cylinder rotates well and functions properly. Screw heads appear untouched without damage. Original grips are amazing with a strong cartouche on left side. This gun appears to be all original and came from the original owners great grandson!
