Holland13lb 7dram 12 bore rifle with rebounding hammers and 3rd bite. This rifle was commissioned by the Duke of Portland in 1883 and then taken on a well documented shikar in India. Exstensively and exquisitely engraved.The rifle has dolls head,side clips and a spring actuatedby the underlever that releases a third bite on the barrel lugs and aids in closing. bores are excellent. Areal piece of history and still deadly on dangerous game 130 years after its manufacture.
