Ithaca 6E Flues single barrel trap gun. 34” barrel, .040 (extra full) choke with minimum wall thickness of .040”! This gun is completely original down to the age hardened Hawkins pad. Made in 1917 this rare 6E is original in all aspects save for the stock being refinished a long time ago and the forward screw in the trigger guard does not appear to be original, amazing originality for a 97 year old trap gun. The nicely figured stock dimensions are: 14 5/8” LOP, 1 3/8” DAC & 2 1/8” DAH with ¼” RH cast at the heel and 3/8” at the toe. Barrel rust blue is a “thinning” 80% with a perfect bore. The case colors, overall are about 20% with stronger areas around the trigger and upper side areas. Fairly unusual 34” barrel length and a straight grip stock are added features to an already desirable Ithaca. Mechanically the gun is sound but the action is slightly off face. A hefty 8 lbs. 12 oz. with appropriate front hand weight distribution. A fine condition, rare 6E Ithaca
