Description:
Egyptian Martini Mk III in original 12 guage. Bore measures .726 and muzzle measures .711 which gives this gun a skeet II choke which is between IC and Mod. The gun was made by W. W. Greener for Egypt. The Mk III guns were made in 14 1/2 guage which had a straight case and then were made in 14 guage with a bottle neck close to the 12 guage rim after it was found that some were using 16 guage shells wraped in heavy paper in the 14 1/2 guage guns and some as this one, were made in standard 12 guage. This gun has 2 3/4" chamber and is proofed for a 1 1/2 ounce load. It has a 26" barrel and a trap butt plate. You will not find a gun in this guage very often as most were made in 14 guage.
