The Frank James Wild West show began in 1903 and ended the same year. The short history of the whole thing is documented in a book by John Koblas "The Cole Younger & Frank James Wild West Show". Here are three extremely rare pieces of material from that show. According to a major house there are no other known show admission tickets of any kind to this short lived wild west show. The stationary is also extremely rare and none except for this lettersheet and envelope are for sale anywhere and this may be the only original letter sheet and envelope that have stayed together from the beginning known to exist. These original artifacts are in great condition. The show ticket is 3 inches by 2-1/2, the envelope is 9 x 4 inches and the letter sheet is 8-1/2 inces wide.
The small collection includes a "True West" magazine with a illustrated article titled "Frank James Wild West Show", and a signed copy of John Koblas' book. If you would like the stagecoach of which the baggage area on top is a wonderful platform to disply the addmission ticket as you can see, it will cost an extra $400 with the plexi-glass display case. It's a high quality die cast Well's Fargo Overland Stagecoach manufactured by the Franklin Mint. These can be found on ebay if you'd like to search for more info.
