This gun got our attention because of its unusually high level of condition. Rediscovered after decades in storage, this is certainly a special find. We has the action detail cleaned and lubed, and the insides are just as clean and pretty! Factory blueing appears flawless, with no obvious flaws or wear, even on the sharp edges. The "rolled engraving" is just about perfect on both sides and the top squiggle-matting is crisp and unblemished. Bolt is "Sportsman" marked. 28" barrel has a beautiful shiny bore and Modified choke, and is dent-free. Wood has only mild scattered dings and pressure marks, is CRACK FREE, serial numbered to the gun, with sharp, complete checkering and borders. Pull is 14" over the factory bakelite buttplate. Serial #15185xx and barrel date code RF place this around 1937. Call or email for more details.
