Description:
The item for sale is an excellent condition L.C. Smith Single Barrel Trap (SBT) "Specialty" Grade 12 gauge shotgun. The recoil pad is orginial and the shotgun shows no signs of modification. LOP is 13 7/8". The shotgun has a 32" barrel with ventilated rib, box lock, auto ejector, checkered pistol grip stock and beavertail forend. The gun's bore is in mint condition with no visible pitting or rust. The barrel has approximately 98% bluing remaining and the receiver has a great deal of case colors. Between 1917 and 1951 L.C. Smith manufactured only 2,219 of this single barrel trap model, of which, only 1,409 were of the "Specialty Grade". Serial number is:S198XX
