The buyer assumes the responsibility for transfer fees or background check fees that the receiving dealer will charge. We encourage that the buyer contact the dealer before we transfer the gun to them for pick-up to insure that there are no problems with your transfer. If the dealer refuses to accept delivery of your firearm, you will be responsible for shipping charges to recover the firearm and reship it to a dealer that is willing to receive it.

Description:
Up for sale is an absolutely beautiful Ruger M77 African chambered in .458 Winchester Magnum. This model was made the second to last year (1983) that the original M77 rifle was made with the tang safety. Also featured on this rifle is a richly figured walnut stock, with hand cut checkering, high polish bluing on metal and express rifle sights. Overall condition is easily 98%+ with only a couple handling marks here and there. The worst ones are a couple light marks above the trigger on the left side of the rifle (Please refer to last picture). It would appear that this rifle has MAYBE had a box of shells through it as bolt and bore are bright and clean.
Classically styled, bolt-action rifle with barrel and receiver in a Polished Blued finish, and a slim, rounded profile American Walnut stock with satin finish and extensive hand-cut checkered grip and checkered forend. The tang safety model of the Ruger M77 is an iconic; and often a favorite of many collectors and hunters that can appreciate a quality American-made rifle.
