Description:
Pre war 16ga by Herman Eichhorn and Son of Rostock,Germany.This gun has 30" Krupp steel barrels choked modified (.022") and full (.036").The receiver is fully engraved with very detailed game scenes and Germanic floral scroll.Other features include double triggers,extractors,cocking indicators,intercepting sears,Purdey style double underbites,Greener crossbolt top lver,sling swivels,a hron buttplate,and a European style cheekpiece.The barrels are tight and on face with no play.The chambers are the original 29/16".The wood is sound with no cracks,just a few light handling marks.The gun comes with a pair of 28ga.Briley full length insert tubes.This is a great little upland bird gun and would make a fine preserve gun with the 28ga tubles.The gun weighs 6-0.
