Presented for sale, you will find a U. S. 1903 made by Rock Island Armory in 1922. This rifle is chambered in 30 Government (30-06).
This 1903 was presented to us from and estate. According to the owners notes, It was acquired from the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP).
As you can see from the images, this one if in good condition. The images will illustrate the great piece of history much better than I can describe.
If you count Nazis and Japs the 1903, and variations, has probably killed as many animals of any rifle every built. If not, it sure did its job well.
Included in the listing is the pictured 1903.
