Description:
Colt 1911 Commercial (government Model) .45 ACP. Early, 1914 vintage 1911 commercial .45 in very nice and totally original condition and original Factory finish as well as the correct barrel and magazine.Serial # C15350 Mfg in 1914 ,third year of production. It has Vintage Ivory grips which could be original to the piece making them 102 years old also. The grips are in solid and not blemed or cracked, Yellow in color as should be for their age. They are very nice and have a nice grain to them as you can see. The barrel is marked only with a small j on the left side of the lug, no other marks as per the book. The landyard loop magazine is a very early commercial ,dark sided 2 tone mag in excellent condition pretty blue follower and smokey blue base. The slid stop , safety, trigger and hammer are smokey blue also.The half moon front site and a u notch rear. The assembler is Axel Liljegren so marked with a Y on the rear of the trigger guard and the VP in a triangle on the left of the trigger guard also. The bore is almost minty, looks unfired. The mechanics are in excellent working order. A very nice attractive well built and original 1911( Gangster gun) It has been use very little it seems and retaines a high percentage of its original finish with some light scratches and very small freckling here and there. All in all a solid good looking original Colt for a collection .
