Description:
Winchester Model 21 12 Gauge Side-by-Side
TRAP SKEET, LIGHTWEIGHT, FACTORY LETTER, ORIGINAL CONDITION

General Specs: Winchester, Year 1935, 12 Gauge, 6lbs 14oz, SxS
Serial Number: 3047

When John Olin wanted to have title to the strongest side by side shotgun in the world, he went to work and got it done.  The Model 21 is an American icon and its reputation is well deserved.  A strikingly handsome gun with the finest steels, gunners in the know have utilized this Winchester in the field and at the club to shoot thousands of rounds without failure.  IF YOU LIKE HEAVY LOADS FOR PHEASANTS OR OTHER TOUGH GAME, THIS IS THE GUN.  Most double gun enthusiasts are well aware of the reputation earned by the Winchester Model 21; a gun of mechanical genius that was under the micro management of John Olin himself.  With only 30,000 produced (compared to 250,000 Parkers!), any high condition Model 21 is a valuable, investment quality firearm.  This Model 21, SN3047 built in 1935, is a fine example of a factory original, unaltered in any way, Model 21 that is fully documented by the Cody Firearms Museum info that comes with this gun.  THIS GUN IS UNTOUCHED, AS SHIPPED, WITH ALL FACTORY FINISHES….. A RARE FIND.  The stock dimensions, chokes, all specifications in the Cody letter match this gun to the “T”.  Nicely figured Tournament Grade wood, a bit of natural wear on the receiver, mirror bores, perfect screws, make this a Model 21 that will not last long.  If you want to hunt upland game or shoot clay targets with the most potent ammunition or with the most recognized of the iconic American double guns, this gun is priced right and ready for another 100 years of service.  Mechanically perfect in every way and a true lightweight 12ga. gun at 6lbs. 14oz. it would be a delight to carry afield.  This is a shotgun that will increase in value as you enjoy it use.  Thanks for looking, and don’t let this one get away.
