Merkel's own Doreen Grill did the beautiful engraving on this firearm. Both sides of the receiver have game scenes with a charging bull elk on the right and a whitetail buck on the left. Arabesque scroll surrounds these scenes and covers the bottom of the receiver, trigger guard, operating lever and the forend latching hardware.
Straight grain European walnut is used for the pistol grip, Monte Carlo stock and for the matching forearm. Precision cut Merkel checkering covers the gripping surfaces. Suggested Retail Price $9495.00!
