Description:
Merkel 140-2, 470 NE caliber, double rifle. Non ejector. Extractors only. Shoe lump barrels. This rifle is in pristine condition. Fired approximately 46 rounds. Action is still as tight as the day it left the factory. This gun was built in 2003, and has only had one owner, until I purchased it last year. It is perfectly regulated with Hornady factory ammo. Has u notch rear sight, and blade front sight. I have only personally fired this gun 16 times. I had a red 1" recoil pad installed by JJ Peradeau. ($200 value!) This lengthened the LOP by 1/2" above the factory 14" LOP. The previous owner claimed to have only fired it 30 rounds. I was very surprised by the accuracy this gun offers. It is perfectly regulated and sighted in at 50 yards. Very nice rifle! Includes factory box and paperwork. However, the box is not in good shape, due to being stored in an attic.
