Description:
Serial #1D20729, .38 Special, 4” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This stainless steel M&P revolver has a heavyweight barrel and fixed sights. The steel has an overall bright patina with minor surface scratches and small spots scattered about, most noticeably at the muzzle, along the edges of the barrel rib, and on the cylinder. The underside of the barrel has some sort of identification number added in electric pencil on the ejector cut-out: “(T or S)DC/77206”. The walnut grips are in very good shape with numerous minor handling marks and blemishes, as well as flattening to the points, and a small linear chip in the leading edge of the raised border on the left panel. The lock-up is still tight and the action functions flawlessly. This is a nice S&W service revolver and would make a good pack or carry gun. FFL
