This is a superbly crafted single-shot rifle, built along K-31 infantry carbine lines, but with a .22 caliber barrel with deep target crown, and a precision-made, Hammerli-marked, small bore single-shot action. The rifle, which has a small import marking on the left side of the receiver retains 95-97% of the original blue finish with some silvering along a few of the high edges and projections, and at the muzzle and front sight protectors. The bolt has a pleasant, dull gray patina with some freckling on the aluminum handle and cosmetic surface wear on the bearing surfaces. The stock (which has no magazine cut-out along the underside) and handguard also have only minor handling marks and bruises marring the otherwise excellent original finish. The rifle is equipped with a 50m rear sight and a worn, but still serviceable leather sling is installed. A blue and white Hammerli sticker is attached to the right side of the buttstock and a Swiss sheet metal muzzle cover is included. These extremely nice rifles, built to compete in Swiss EKSV rimfire matches, are a rare sight in the U.S. This example is in fine-near excellent condition and would make a terrific addition to any collection. It should also prove highly accurate as a shooter too. FFL SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Manufacturer: Swiss Model: Trainer Serial Number: 312 Caliber Info: .22LR Gauge Info: .22LR |
