Description:
Serial #G2572973, .338 Win. Mag., 26" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. The metal of this handsome rifle retains about 97-98% of the original blue with the majority of the blue loss occurring along the unmarked floorplate, which has mostly faded to a dark blue-gray. The bolt is numbered to the receiver in electric pencil, and retains most of its bright, engine-turned pattern. The checkered walnut stock rates excellent with only a few light handling marks, and features an ebony forend tip, a single magnum crossbolt, a shadow line cheek-piece, steel pistol grip cap, inlet swivel bases, and a solid rubber recoil pad. This is a terrific long-range big game rifle that only needs quality optics to be mounted. FFL
