Description:
Serial #332115, .45 Colt, 5 1/2” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome revolver that retains nearly all of the original blue finish with only some negligible silvering at the muzzle and along some of the high edges and projections. Despite that, the only real finish loss is a mild turn-ring on the cylinder. The hammer and checkered trigger have virtually all of their original bright blue remaining, and the original checkered walnut, Colt medallion grips are also in excellent condition with only some minor flattening of the points on either side. The lock-up is tight and the action functions flawlessly. The revolver is accompanied by a 2016 dated Colt Factory Letter that lists a ship date of December 15, 1933, to H&D Folsom Arms Co. of New York, NY as half of a two gun shipment. This is a fantastic, almost unused New Service in excellent condition. FFL or C&R
