Later 1970's vintage Beretta Model 92S (Second Series Model) chambered in 9mm. Again, this was the second series of the Beretta 92 which was introduced in 1976 and it differed from the Model 92 (First Series) in that it was fitted with a slide mounted firing pin blocking safety. The 92S was replaced by the Model 92SB-P (Third Series) in 1980. The 92S pistols were fitted with a 4.9 inch barrel, mag release button at the base of the pistol grip, black checkered plastic grips, and were blue/black finished. This is a 98%+ pistol in condition, with very minor thinning on some sharp edges of the frame and slide, and some handling marks on the grisp. It has a bright bore, with sharp rifling, and the action is tight and functions perfectly. It apparently was not original shipped to the U.S.A., since it has an import stamp (P.W. ARMS. REDMOND. WA) on the left side of the slide. Comes with (2) 15-round magazines. Do not come accross many early Beretta 92's.
