Winchester Model 95 .30 GOV’T-‘06
This Winchester Model 95 rifle, serial # 420462 in 30-06 has a 24-inch nickel steel barrel. Manufactured late 1924. The barrel retains 75% of its blue and the bore is extremely strong with no pits and great rifling. The rifle has the correct WR marked Lyman long range sight with rear peep aperture. The rear peep has a flip up small peep for long range or more precise accuracy. Fore sight is a Marble Sheard. The receiver has turned to a pleasant soft brown patina. The rifle has a steel butt plate. Butt stock is solid no cracks and only a small area that may be a chip but could be where the wood has drawn up some near the tang. Fore end solid as well with one minor ding on the left side. Great rifle to shoot, collect and appreciate. Yes, we can and do ship into California.
