Great looking 1979 vintage Colt Detective Special chambered in 38 Special. This is a 3rd Issue (1973 to 1986) Detective Special fitted with a 2 inch barrel with shrouded ejector rod, checkered wraparound wood grips, and is blue finished. It retains 99% of its original blue finish, with just a few very minor handling marks and a slight drag line on the cylinder. The grips are as new, the bore is bright, and the action functions perfectly. From its appearance, it looks to having been factory test fired only.
