Description:
The Winchester Model 42 was the first pump specifically designed for the .410 bore. The standard guns were hammerless, fitted with a 26 or 28 inch barrel, plain walnut pistol grip stock with circular grooved forearm, weighed in at 6 1/2 to 7 pounds, and were manufactured form 1933 to 1963. This 1948 vintage Model 42 is fitted with a 28 inch barrel and a 14 inch length of pull over its original checkered black plastic butt-plate. It retains about 70% of its original blue finish and the stock and forearm retain most of their original finishes, with assorted handling marks and thinning.
