Description:
J.P. Sauer Royal 12 Gauge Side-by-Side
EJECTORS, 99% CONDITION, BARGAIN PRICE

General Specs: JP Sauer, Year 1960, 12 Gauge, 6lbs 12oz, SxS
Serial Number: 245650

J.P. Sauer & Sohn have been makers of fine firearms for nearly 3 centuries and have produced some the most ornate, fantastic shotguns you will find.  This ejector 12ga, serial number 245650 built in 1960, is the “ROYAL”, a less ornate gun, but is nicely balanced, German engineered, and in excellent original condition.  Weighing just 6 3/4lbs. and balanced nicely between the hands, it is the perfect bird and vintage clays gun and a VERY AFFORDABLE, well-made ejector 12 bore.  This gun has not been shot much and is tight on hinge and breech face like a new gun.  The mechanics are without flaw, with perfectly timed ejectors, crisp triggers, positive safety, and functioning cocking indicators.  The receiver has a gracefully scalloped back, nicely hand engraved, retaining 99.5% case color, perfect screws, 5 locking lock mechanisms with double underlug bites, Greener cross bolt, side clips, and barrel lug through the bottom of the receiver.  There are even locking screws on the primary action screws…German engineering all the way and a price you can afford.  This is a “fully optioned”, German engineered boxlock action with all the bells and whistles…an exceptional gun at an affordable price.  If you consider the cost of any graded American vintage double with ejectors in this kind of condition you would pay more than twice as much money as you would on this fine Sauer.  A good investment and a gun you will be proud to own.  Thanks for looking!
