Winchester Model 62-A Pump Action .22 Short, Long and Long Rifle. The serial number of this example is 1003XX placing date of manufacture in 1940. Overall condition is very good with 75-80% of the original factory blue. The bore is perfect and will rate a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. Wood to metal fit is perfect with no damage. This transitional 62-62-A is sporting the desirable "Cigar Forearm". A well cared for 62, great shooter.
