SOLD Okay, here is what is believed to be an original flintlock rifle that was retrofitted and converted with reproduction percussion system. It is a full stock curly maple and has excellent aesthetic appeal. This was determined by the craftsmanship, the sideplate isn't the correct size for the lock, and is held in with with only one screw. Has an incorrect butt plate screw and lock screw. Fully functional with strong rifling, I have absolutely no doubt it is a great shooter. It does have some light pitting on the barrel and the moon the the right side of the grip seems to have been damaged and reapplied with an adhesive. Please just look at it. What you see is what you get. Honest price for a much nicer gun than can be bought new off the shelf that is a lot better looking than your basic hawken.
