The receiver has game scene engraving featuring a charging rhino on the right and a bull elephant on the left. Surrounding these scenes is dense arabesque scroll engraving which continues to the bottom of the receiver, trigger guard, operating lever and the forend latching hardware.
Luxury grade European walnut with powerful, bold grain pattern, is used for the pistol grip stock and forearm. Merkel's perfection cut checkering on the grip surfaces and a Monte Carlo cheek piece complete the package.
