Manufactured in 1985.
The coin finish receiver has all of the game scenes signed by the engraver, "Balneari". A gold inlaid setter is pointing at a gold inlaid quail on the left side, and a gold inlaid pointer flushing 2 quail on the right. The bottom of the action shows a Bulino portrait of a German shorthair pointing a worried quail. Another signature, "Granetti", is on the trigger plate as the artist who engraved the beautiful scroll & rose bouquet which surrounds these scenes. The operating lever has an inlaid gold soverign's crown and the forearm has an inset gold Piotti crest. Dark, reddish tinge, European walnut is used for the pistol grip stock and splinter forearm. Fine 32LPI checkering with a line border covers the grip and forearm. A gold oval in the toeline is engraved "Donated to Ducks Unlimited by Nan & Frank Pachmayr".
