Scarce Civil War Army Revolver
Here we present an antique Star Arms Co. Model 1858 Double Action Army Revolver, made circa 1858-1860 in one of Starr’s factories in Binghamton or Yonkers, New York. Only 23,000 of these were produced, making this a scarce Civil War revolver—especially compared to the 156,000 Colt 1860 Armies that were made.
Grips show wear, but are in very good shape overall and still faintly shows the military inspector cartouches. Markings on the frame and cylinder are crisp and clear. Serial numbers match.
