REALLY NICE CONDITION ANTIQUE SERIAL NUMBER 1894 .32-20 OCTAGON RIFLE, #126XXX MADE 1895, This second year production rifle shows fine deep original blue with only some very light and minor edge wear and scuffing, receiver still retains some good case color that is fairly vivid in the rear sides and of course the protected areas with the balance evenly fading to light color and mottled gray, fine+ wood shows only normal light handling, the tiniest of chips at the right upper corner of the tang receiver juncture is barely worth mentioning, even the forend cap shows good blue, tight action, bore should clean up exc. with maybe a little corrosion in the middle area of the bore that may or may not totally scrub out- fine deep rifling throughout, original buckhorn rear sight with original Rocky Mountain blade front sight, exc. markings, standard 24" barrel, great example of a hard to find early production antique 1894.
