Description:
A very hard to find example of a deluxe Savage model 29-A. The condition of this little gun would make an excellent addition to anyone's rimfire collection. The deluxe walnut stocks are checkered and still have 97% plus of the original finish. The barrel and magazine tube are about 97-98% as new, as is the bore. The receiver appears to have two holes that were added for a scope base. These were expertly done and doesn't take away from the guns appearance in any way. The finish on the frame is about 98% with it starting to thin in the area behind the trigger guard. The action is crisp and tight as it ever was. It is almost too nice to hunt with but at this price, why not!
