VERY FINE CONDITION 1894 .38-55 OCTAGON RIFLE, MADE 1905, particularly nice rifle with fine deep barrel blue showing only light age/wear, exc. blue on the mag tube, receiver shows nice deep blue on the bolt and sides with wear to gray on the bottom and edges, exc. wood with very tight wood to metal fit, looks like two small "X" marks lightly scratched in the right side of the stock- very shallow and hardly worth mentioning, bore will clean about exc. with anything not scrubbing out will be minor and surface, buckhorn rear sight with small Winchester blade/bead front sight, exc. screws, hard to find .38-55 octagon rifles this nice.
