SUPERB, INVESTMENT QUALITY PRE-WAR .38-44 OUTDOORSMAN TARGET SIGHTED N-FRAME REVOLVER, MADE DURING THE WORST OF THE GREAT DEPRESSION IN 1933! S&W only made 4761 of these fine guns between 1931-1941. Long considered one of the absolute finest guns ever made by S&W. This one has all matching numbers INCLUDING INSIDE THE GRIPS, shows nearly all the deep blue overall- including on the face of the cylinder indicating that this one was rarely if ever fired as this blue blasts off from the exploding cartridges in no time, has only a small spot near the muzzle where some rust was wiped away- minor and you have to look for it to notice it- retains excellent case color on the hammer and trigger, exc. sharply checkered grips, perfect inside, original unaltered target adjustable sights, remarkable condition overall and hard to find in any condition these days. This one is a gem!
