LOP 15" ... drop comb 1 3/8" ... drop heel 2 1/8" ... cast off 1/4" ... bore constrictions: R.009, L.010 ... 6 lbs 8 oz weight. Ordered on Feb. 25,1983 and finished on Nov. 27, 1984. Finisher E. The receiver features relief and Bulino engraved scenes of lifelike woodcock flying on the bottom, acanthus relief of three quail flushing over a barb wire fence on the left side and a pair of pheasants flushing on the right. Please examine the photos to appreciate the detail. Stock is a nicely figured and streaked walnut with a straight grip and the checkering has mullered borders. There is a gold inlaid oval with the initials 'JGS' engraved. The perfectly matched wood on the forend has matching checkering and an Anson release.
