Drop dead georgeous French walnut with marbled grain is used for the straight grip English stock and beavertail forearm. 28 LPI checkering liberally covers both grip surfaces. The forearm is fitted with Anson release hardware. The French grey receiver has medium coverage of scroll engraving which surrounds a gold inlaid pheasant on the left and a flushing duck on the right. The scroll coverage continues to the extra long tang and the operating lever. The top of the rib is engraved and gold filled, "Roy Vail Warwick, NY".
