Description:
.69 caliber, 42" round barrel finished lacquer brown and dated 1832. Convex lock with the maker's particulars and dated 1832. Walnut stock bearing the U.S. inspector's cartouches. In very high original condition with the barrel retaining 85-90% plus brown, Sideplate, triggerguard, and buttplate much the same. Lock plate is showing fading casehardened color with mint stampings. Excellent wood with some storage marks and perfect cartouches. Appears unissued.
