This operating rod has the drawing number 3. The rod has not been cut and rewelded. The original finish is intact. This is correct for the early Garand rifles. These rods are very hard to find that have not been through the government rebuild programs and have been relief cut. This is a very nice condition Operating Rod that would be at home with a nice condition M1 Garand for collectors. Search for hlvfineguns on google.
