SALE PENDING: For Sale or Layaway: Colt Argentine Sistema Model 1927 M1911A1 Semi-Auto Pistol. Argentina produced a licensed copy, the Colt Model 1927, from 1945 to 1966. This is a 1952 Army crested pistol with matching numbers on the frame, slide and barrel. The magazine is a WWII replacement unit. The grips are after-market WWII Keyes replacements. The barrel is shiny with sharp rifling. For a 75 yr old pistol, it is in very good condition. Its original black oxide finish has been removed via an arsenal rebuild during its life and replaced with typical military parkerization. I have test fired this pistol and it functions perfectly. This is an excellent example of Colt's iconic M1911A1 design at a very affordable price. It would make a perfect collector's piece, a high powered carry weapon and/or a very reliable shooter.
