20" tapered round barrel with blade front sight, banded swivel base, and folding leaf rear sight. Fully figured English walnut C-checkered stocks with schnabel forend tip, straight grip and original maker's buttplate. Factory D-engraved, with vignettes of bison on left and tiger on right, all surrounded with scroll. Jeweled bolt, casehardened lever, brass rotary magazine, and Lyman/Savage No.2A tang peep sight with locking feature and disc. Built for Von Longerke & Antoine in 1912. Xerox of original Savage orderbook page and Roe Clark letters confirming specification. 99% barrel blue. 99% high-polish receiver blue. 99% lever casehardening colors. Excellent bore.
