28" SxS chopper-lump matted-vent-rib barrels choked modified & full. 26" SxS chopper-lump matted-vent-rib barrels choked cylinder & improved cylinder. 14 1/4" pull from single non-selective trigger to intricately scroll-engraved steel buttplate. 1 1/2" - 2 1/2" drop. 1/2" cast-off. Fully figured English walnut stock with Anson-release splinter forend, straight English grip, classic point-pattern checkering, teardrops, gold letters CB discreetly inlaid on underside of stock, and engraved steel buttplate. "Black&White" coin-finished receiver fully engraved with acanthus scroll, bushed firing pins, concealed third fastener, side clips, cocking indicators, hand-detachable sidelocks, automatic top tang safety with SAFE inlaid in gold, and with gold-washed internals. Weight: 7lbs, 3oz. Built 1969. Retaining 99% barrel blue, tight, and with excellent bores. In maker's oak & leather trunk case with full set of accessories and copy of Purdey's orderbook entry confirming specification.
