Description:
An interesting DOUBLE Barrel Percussion pistol with a story to tell. The  8& 1/2" round  barrels are side by side  and the tip of the left side barrel  (see pictures) has been damaged. Perhaps to much gunpowder was put in it. Makes you wonder, did the shot still hit the intended target, and what injury might the shooter have sustained? The cap box in the butt, the trigger guard and other small parts are nicely engraved brass. The rest of the metalwork  including the engraved tang show the remains of a blued finish. The action is very strong. There are two hammers, which hold at full and half cock, and two triggers. Everything works properly. The 3/4 stock is nicely carved at the grip with a blank   brass escutcheon plate at the top of the grip. The overall length is about 15".

NOTE;  PRICE REDUCED  !
