Description:
Desirable Colt Sheriff’s Model Single Action Army in .45LC, 1XXSEXX manufactured 1987. Features black powder frame with 3 line patent dates on left side, rare 5 ½” bbl., with full royal blue finish, fitted with smooth walnut grips with gold Colt medallions. In 1987 Colt produced a special five gun series of Sheriff’s Models which were assembled without ejectors, all were finished in royal blue & fitted with smooth walnut grips with gold Colt medallions. The barrel lengths offered in this Sheriff’s model series were the only such examples manufactured during the Sheriff’s model production. This particular Colt sports the rare 5 ½” bbl. Condition is as new, unfired & has the lightest of drag lines on the cylinder. Complete with Colt Custom Shop maroon box with blank label & papers.
