Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are rightfully proud to offer this fine example of Marlin's svelte rifle, the 1894. This one is decked out with special order features, and looks just about as good as the day the lucky owner picked it up at the hardware store. Made in the year of our Lord 1897, she sports deluxe pistol grip configuration, extra select checkered wood, case hardened receiver and lever, half magazine, and fine sights. The front is a Lyman combination globe with an ivory bead, and the rear is a deluxe sporting sight with an adjustable leaf. The highly figured gorgeous stock is topped off with a Marlin hard rubber butt plate. There are some light handling marks, but the wood is all there. The blue is thin and has drifted to patina, but still looks good. The bore of the 24 inch barrel has distinct rifling and plenty of shine, and would rate about a 7 out of 10. Best of all, she is chambered in 25-20 WCF. The smallest cartridge offered in the '94, it is also the hardest to find. Marlin had bragging rights for being the first repeater to chamber this round. This rifle received good care, as she does not look 120 years old. The stampings are very sharp and clear, and the action is crisp and smooth. The fine folks at the Cody Museum verified the deluxe configuration of this gun, and it will letter the same way. This kind of gun doesn't come around very often. If you have been looking for the right Marlin to collect or for investment, with the added clout of special order features, then look no further.
