Early Marlin 39 .22 SLLR caliber rifle. Early Model 39 with “S” prefix and “Star” on upper tang for extra quality rifle. Excellent bore. Action works perfectly. Frame has excellent vivid case colors. Lever has very good case colors, fading on the part of the lever where the hand cocks the rifle. Barrel and tube have 98-99% bright original blue. Stock has 98% original varnish. Buttplate is excellent. Beautiful Model 39 in super condition.
